English Afterschool Teacher

Create a joyful, activity-based English environment for elementary students—songs, games, and crafts—plus homework support and classroom care.

Shiratori Bldg. 2F, 2-13-37 Inokuchi, Mitaka-shi, Tokyo 181-0011
Access: JR Chuo Line Musashi-Sakai (bus ~3 min) / JR Chuo-Sobu Mitaka (bus ~9 min)
Smoke-free workplace.

Schedule

• Weekdays 13:00–20:00 (shift) | From 2 days/week OK
• During school breaks: shifts between 9:00–20:00
• Start date flexible | Long-term welcome (3+ months)

What you’ll do

• Lead fun English activities (songs, games, crafts)
• Support homework, serve snacks, maintain a safe & tidy classroom
• Communicate with parents/guardians and team members

What we’re looking for

• Enjoy working with children and building a positive learning space
• English: daily conversational level or above (to lead activities)
• Japanese: basic comprehension for safety and parent communication (job-related)
• Teaching/childcare experience is a plus; training provided for newcomers

Work authorization

Applicants must have valid authorization to work in Japan.
